Chelsea will be without Antonio Rudiger for this weekend’s Premier League London derby against West Ham.

Rudiger has been one of Chelsea’s most consistent performers this season, but Thomas Tuchel will be forced into altering things at the back for this one.

Some changes might have happened anyway as the Blues are coming off a surprise 4-2 home defeat against rivals Arsenal on Wednesday.

They will be looking to get back to winning ways at home as they have lost the last two at Stamford Bridge to Brentford and then the Gunners.

Mateo Kovacic, Ben Chilwell and Callum Hudson-Odoi are also injured for Chelsea.

Edouard Mendy will start in goal behind a likely back three of Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr.

With Kovacic missing, the central midfield duo of Jorginho and N’Golo Kante picks itself, while Reece James and Marcos Alonso will feature in the wing-back roles.

In attack, it is likely that Romelu Lukaku will be dropped after yet another ineffectual outing last time out.

Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz should be restored to the starting XI alongside Mason Mount in attack, with Lukaku and Timo Werner dropping to the bench.
