Chelsea go into this game in utter chaos off the pitch following the decision by the UK government to freeze the assets of owner Roman Abramovich.

Despite all the upheaval, Chelsea are actually in exceptional form.

They have won 10 of their last 11 games in all competition, with their only slip-up being the defeat on penalties to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.

Chelsea lead Lille 2-0 in this Champions League last-16 tie, having claimed a rather straightforward victory at Stamford Bridge.

They will be expected to cruise into the quarter-finals against a Lille team who are having a terrible season domestically.

Chelsea are without both of their first-choice wing-backs as long-term absentee Ben Chilwell and Reece James are both out.

Tuchel will be hoping that Cesar Azpilicueta and Callum Hudson-Odoi can pass late fitness tests as the former is ill and the latter has a minor foot injury.

Azpilicueta is expected to make it in order to play on the right of the three-man backline along with Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger.

Aside from that, Chelsea are virtually at full strength.

N’Golo Kante will start in the centre of midfield, probably alongside Jorginho after the Italian’s brilliant last-minute assist against Newcastle.

Christian Pulisic and Marcos Alonso are favourites for the wide positions.

In attack, Hakim Ziyech and Mason Mount will be the supporting cast. That leaves Tuchel with the decision of sticking with the in-form Kai Havertz or bringing back Romelu Lukaku. So impressive is Havertz lately after his last minute winner against Newcastle that he should get the nod again.

Lille are missing their best midfielder Renato Sanches, who picked up a muscular injury at the weekend. Goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis is also missing.
