Christina Hendricks wears a pretty printed dress for the launch of Good Eggs held at the California Heritage Museum on Thursday (March 3) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 46-year-old actress joined Malin Akerman, Nichelle Hines, Jamie Chung, Alexandra Daddario, Angelique Cabral, Logan Browning, Abigail Spencer, Alanna Hadid, Jay Ellis, and Brad Goreski at the event, which benefited The Art of Elysium’s culinary art program.

During the event, Christina reflected on the cancellation of Good Girls after four seasons on the air on NBC.

Christina explained to People that she felt that the network “failed massively,” when it came to “representing the kind of show that it was. It was quirky and weird and smart and they kind of made it just look like a sitcom.”

NBC “told us we were going to get picked up and then two weeks later yanked it out from underneath us and took it away from us,” she said.

However, she did make a point to praise the fans for watching and campaigning to bring them back.

Reported just a few months after the cancellation, sources explained that there was more going on behind the scenes of the show that possibly lead the network to pull the show.
