The 34-year-old actress and singer opened up during an interview on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday (February 23) in Los Angeles.
“So my son was around for like my last album cycle, which was like five, six years ago already now. So he likes some songs off the record and appreciates it,” Hilary said about her nine-year-old son Luca.

Hilary continued, “But my daughter, someone played my daughter my old, like teeny bopper music and now I have to bump it in my car like at full volume. And you know when your kids ask for something, like you are giving it to them or they won’t stop. And so she’s like, ‘I want to hear this, I want to hear that, can I please, can I hear’… I’m like, ‘Dua Lipa, can we do something a little more current.’”
Hilary said that Banks will roll her window down when they’re listening to “deep Hilary Duff cuts” in the car. She said, “It’s horrific.”
“Honestly, but then there’s moment where I’m like this is a damn bop,” Hilary admitted.
Dave Grohl was also a guest on the episode.
In another new interview, Hilary addressed the car seat controversy involving Banks.
