CUSAT Counselling 2022: The candidates, who qualify for the examination will have to attend the counselling session of CUSAT CAT. CUSAT CAT Counselling Dates 2022
CUSAT Counselling 2022 is going to conduct on the dates prescribed. The applicant, who takes the examination of CUSAT must make sure to be updated with all the important dates. The candidates must not skip any of the important dates.

Counselling of CUSAT 2022
The counselling session of CUSAT CAT conducts after the release of the results. The applicants, who qualify for the examination of CUSAT will have to attend the counselling session. The counselling session shall be conducted in an online mode. The complete procedure of the counselling of CUSAT CAT B.Tech will be the registration, option entry, and CUSAT seat allotment. The qualifying candidate will have to complete the whole procedure. If the candidate does not complete the whole steps, then one will not be able to proceed to the further procedure of the counselling session.
This is to be noted that the applicants will have to attend the counselling session of CUSAT CAT along with the mandatory documents. Without the documents, the applicants will not be able to attend the counselling session. In case if the seats remain vacant even after the counselling session of CUSAT, then the authority will be conducting the spot round counselling separately.
Counselling Procedure of CUSAT CAT 2022
The counselling procedure of CUSAT shall be including many crucial steps. The applicant will have to make sure to qualify all the mandatory steps. All the steps of the Counselling Procedure are:
Option Entry:
The step of option entry is the first most step in the whole procedure of the counselling of CUSAT. In this step, the candidates will have to fill the online option while registering for the counselling. The step of option entry allows the candidate to opt for their preferred colleges and courses. The candidates must make sure to submit their choices before the specified dates. One can fill as many choices as he/ she wants to. This option can be executed after logging into with the help of one’s User Name and Password. If the candidate fills any wrong choice or wishes to change any of the choices, then he/ she can do the same before the last date.
Seat Allotment:
Post the candidate fills all of his/ her choices, he/she will have to take a printout of the seats allotted. Cochin University will release the result of seat allotment in an online mode. The authority will publish the seat allotment result on its official website. The candidate will have to download the counselling call letter after they get the seats. Post downloading the same, the candidates will have to report at the allotted college for the procedure of the document verification.
Reporting to the Allotted College:
The applicants, after downloading the counselling call letter, will have to report to the allotted college for the procedure of document verification. After getting the documents verified, the applicants will have to pay the mandatory fee. If the candidate does not accept his/ her seat or does not pay the fee before the stipulated period of time, then his/ her candidature will immediately get cancelled.
Admission Cancellation and Fee Refund:
In case the candidates are not satisfied with their seats allotted, then they can cancel the same. If one wishes to cancel his/ her seat, then he/she will have to inform the university in writing along with the cancellation fee of Rs. 1000/-.
Documents Required for CUSAT Counselling/ Seat Allotment 2022
One must note that the candidates will have to attend the counselling session along with the mandatory documents. If the authority finds any candidate without the documents, then it will not allow him/ her to attend the counselling session. The list of the mandatory documents is:
- CUSAT CAT Admit Card 2022
- CUSAT CAT Application Form 2022 Confirmation Page
- Marksheet and Passing Certificate of 10th and 12th standard
- Migration Certificate (for the candidates from Universities outside Kerala)
- 4 Passport Size Photographs
- Domicile Certificate (for proving the residency of Kerala)
- Character/ Conduct Certificate from the qualifying institute
- Transfer Certificate from the qualifying institute
- Community Certificate issued by the Tahsildar in order to claim the admission under Kerala
- Community Certificate as well as Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued by the competent authority for SEBC candidates who belong to Kerala. The authority shall accept the certificates of only those candidates who claim the communal reservation while filling the application form
- Sports Certificate issued by Kerala State Sports Council (if required)
- OBC Certificate issued by Competent Revenue Authority (if required)
- Category Certificate (if required)
- PHC Certificate (if required).
