Dating shows with parents and kids are now the latest trend in TV formats.
ITV Studios Australia is casting for new dating show with single parents aged 40 – 60, and their 18+ kids, who want another chance at finding love.
18+ year olds can also nominate a parent.
Applicants must be able to participate for a minimum of 2 consecutive weeks tentatively in July 2022.
The format sound similar to My Mom, Your Dad which was created by Greg Daniels (The Office, King of the Hill, Parks & Recreation) and his daughter Haley Daniels.
In the version on HBO Max a group of single parents nominated by their college-age children move into a house called Second Chance Retreat together with the hopes of finding love. Unbeknownst to the parents, their kids are all staying together in another house right down the street, watching and manipulating their dating adventures with the help of a host and various hidden cameras.
