JEECUP Counselling 2022 will be started in 20th June to 15th August 2022. The counselling session of JEECUP is conducted by the Joint  Entrance Examination Council. The candidates, who qualify UP Polytechnic 2022 can attend the counselling session of UP Polytechnic JEECUP. The applicants will be able to know their eligibility to attend the counselling session through the UP Polytechnic Result only, as it will be mentioned therein. Furthermore, in order to attend the UP JEECUP counselling 2022, the candidates will have to register themselves. While doing the registration of the counselling of JEECUP 2022, the candidates will have to pay the fees of Rs. 250/-. The registration has to be done on the official website (jeecup.nic.in) of the authority. Furthermore, the counselling session will be conducted in different rounds on different dates.

JEECUP Counselling /Seat Allotment Process 2022

The candidates must check the JEECUP Counselling 2022 Procedure below.

Step 1: UP Polytechnic Counselling Registration and Payment of Fee

One, who has qualified the examination will be able to attend the JEECUP counselling session on the mentioned date. In order to attend the JEECUP Counselling session, the candidates will have to subsequently register themselves. The registration can be done in an online mode only. While doing the registration, the applicants will have to pay the mandatory fee. In the registration form, the candidates will have to fill in certain details. The candidate, while doing the same will have to be careful since filling one wrong detail can lead to his/ her rejection of the form. Furthermore, the candidate will have to fill the following details in the Jeecup Counselling registration form:

• Name of the candidate
• Date of Birth of the candidate
• Roll Number of JEECUP 2022
• Form Number

After the candidate has entered all the correct details, he/ she will be taken to the form where one will have to enter all his/ her contact details. Post the same, the applicant will have to generate a new password. Therefore, with the help of the password as well as the roll number, the applicant will have to log in to the account and then accept the terms and conditions and then pay the JEECUP counselling fee. The candidate will have to pay Rs. 250/- in an online mode. The fee can be paid through offline mode as well. The candidate can pay the online fee through net banking/ credit/ debit cards. Also, the candidate can pay the offline fee through E-Challan.

Step 2: Filling and Locking of Choices

The next step is the choice filling and locking. In order to do the same, the candidate will have to log in into his/ her account and then fill the choice of the institute as well as the course. While the candidate is entering the choices, he/ she will have to make sure that he/ she is filling all the choices in the order of priority. One is also advised to fill in as many choices as possible in order to enhance the chances of UP JEECUP admission. The locking of the choices must be done before the last date and the candidate must retain at least a printout for future purposes. If the candidate does not fill the choices, then his/ her choices will automatically get locked.

Step 3: Seat Allotment

The next step is the JEECUP Counselling Seat Allotment. The candidates will subsequently be allotted seat on the basis of the rank secured by the candidate. The applicants, who get the seat will have to pay the seat acceptance fee of 3000/-. This fee will be adjusted with the admission fee at the time of admission at the institute allotted.

Step 4: Verification of Documents

The other step will be document verification. Without getting the documents verified, the candidate will not be able to take admission into the aspired institute. Furthermore, during the procedure of the document verification, if the authority finds any kind of inaccuracy, then it will cancel the candidates’ candidature immediately without intimating the candidates. In order to get the JEECUP Counselling required document verified, the candidate will have to report to the first allotted institute. Furthermore, at the time of the reporting, the applicant will have to produce the original as well as two photocopied documents. The list of the mandatory documents, that the candidate has to produce are:

• UP Polytechnic 2022 Hall Ticket
• Result of UP JEECUP
• Call Letter of Counselling of JEECUP
• Marksheets and certificates of the qualifying exam
• Domicile Certificate
• Character Certificate
• Migration Certificate (if applicable)
• Reservation Certificate (if applicable)
• Two photographs

Step 5: Expression of Willingness

Post the seats being allotted to the candidates, the candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee and then opt any of the two options, that are – Freeze and Float. If the applicant chooses the option of Freeze, then his/ her seat will be locked and he/ she will not be able to attend the further rounds of JEECUP online counselling. In case the candidate chooses the option of Float, then he/ she will be able to retain the allotted seats. In case a higher preferred seat is offered in the subsequent round, the seat allotted will get canceled.

Step 6: Admission into Allotted Institute

This step is for the candidates who have opted for the option of Freeze. In order to get the UP JEECUP admission, he/ she will have to pay the admission fee and then complete the further procedure of admission. The applicants, who opt for the option of Float will have to wait until their choice gets frozen to pay the fee of admission.
