Barcelona will undoubtedly go into Sunday’s Catalonia derby against Espanyol in a confident mood.
Not only have their regional rivals been on a poor run of form lately but Xavi’s side will still be in a buoyant mood after their 4-2 victory over Atletico Madrid last weekend.
On top of that, Barca should also be able to put out a relatively full-strength side for the clash on Sunday.
In defence, Xavi will still be without Samuel Umtiti. Clement Lenglet and Sergi Roberto to injury and Dani Alves to suspension, but a back four of Jorgi Alba, Gerard Pique Ronaldo Araujo and Sergino Dest should be more than enough for the clash.
Similarly, Barca should be able to maintain a relatively calm and consistent midfield trio of Sergio Busquets, Frenkie de Jong and the ever-impressive Pedri in the middle of the park.
The Catalan giants are still without Ansi Fati and Memphis Depay through injuries, but a front three of Gavi, Adama Traore and Ferran Torres will likely start up front in their place.
