While it may not be as complex as Three Houses, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes still has quite a few elements that let you socialize with your party members. Expeditions are essentially the equivalent of tea parties in Three Houses, letting Shez settle down for a quiet moment with another character, filled with plenty of awkward conversation and staring. Expeditions are one of the best ways of boosting your support relationships, but you’ll need to say just the right thing in order to really make it work. Here’s everything you need to know about Expeditions in Three Hopes, along with all the perfect responses for every character in the game.
How do Expeditions work in Fire Emblem: Three Hopes?
If you’ve played Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Expeditions work literallly exactly like tea parties. During expeditions you’ll have three prompts to answer, and choosing the right choices will significantly increase the benefits of the Expedition, leading to a bigger boost in affinity and charm for each character. You’ll unlock Expeditions in Chapter 5
Shez can take any character on an Expedition, as long they have at least a C-level support relationship. Keep in mind, of course, that you’ll also need to use an activity point in order to do an Expedition.
How to unlock new Expedition locations
At the start you’ll only be able to take Expeditions in the Plains, but you can unlock additional locations by expanding the Recreation Quarter at the Facilities Master. You’ll need materials to do so, however, which can easily be gained through the Supplies Master by trading Smithing Stones.
The different locations don’t actually have any effect on the Expedition itself, but if you see a yellow emblem next to the location you’ll have an “Encounter” take place, which can boost affinity even more. It’s also just a nice change of scenery.
