This result means that City go three points clear of Liverpool with two matches to play, as well as extending their goal difference advantage to +7.

Chelsea virtually booked a Champions League spot for next season by winning 3-0 at 10-men Leeds.

Chelsea now need one point to clinch a top-four place, although they could do so on Thursday if Tottenham fail to beat Arsenal.

Everton opened up a two-point lead on Leeds in the final relegation spot – and they still have a game in hand – with a 0-0 draw at relegated Watford.
