Miami GP: Max Verstappen wins the Miami Grand Prix followed by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, Hamilton settles for sixth spot
Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz claimed the third position and also a place on the podium. It was an important podium finish for the Spaniard as he retired from the last two races. Sergio Perez, who pushed hard to overtake Sainz eventually finished in the fourth spot. He was then followed by George Russell, who had an amazing recovery drive as he finished fifth.
Meanwhile, Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton claimed the sixth spot. It looked like we were witnessing the vintage Hamilton. Valtteri Bottas would be disappointed as he slipped from the fifth position and had to settle for a seventh-place finish. Alpine’s Esteban Ocon claimed the eighth spot followed by his teammate Fernando Alonso in the ninth. William’s Alex Albon was again amongst the points as he finished in the tenth spot.

McLaren’s Daniel Ricciardo claimed the eleventh spot as he was followed by Lance Stroll in the twelfth position. AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda had to settle for a thirteenth place finish. Nicholas Latifi followed up with a strong drive today and claimed the fourteenth spot.
Both the Haas cars were behind Latifi as Mick Schumacher finished fifteenth and Kevin Magnussen in sixteenth position. It will be heartbreak for Mick as he in the latter part of the race collided with Vettel and dropped from the ninth position.

Sebastian Vettel had to retire his car after crashing with Mick Schumacher. It was not a good outing for the German as he looks short on confidence. Pierre Gasly had collided with Lando Norris as both the drivers retired from the race.

Meanwhile, it was Alfa Romeo’s Guanyu Zhou who was the first driver who retired from the Miami Grand Prix.
Unfortunately, the team has to retire @ZhouGuanyu24’s car due to a technical issue. A sad end to the race for Zhou, who was making progress towards the points 😭 #MiamiGP
