It sounds like the fantasy ending fans had hoped for….

Soapie heartthrobs Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan have reunited for a Neighbours cameo, the Sunday Herald Sun reports.

Minogue and Jason Donovan have secretly reprised their iconic roles as Charlene Mitchell and Scott Robinson, filming their guest appearance on the show at Pin Oak Court in Vermont South late last week.

Their reunion will feature as part of the final episode of the show. When previously asked about securing Kylie Minogue to return, Executive Producer Jason Herbison told TV Tonight “I’m doing everything you’d expect me to be doing!” but added, ” I feel very strongly that the end must equally be a celebration of the current cast. Karl, Susan, Toadie and Paul have earned a very rightful place, front and centre.”

Neighbours will cease production on June 10, after 37 years, and screen on Monday, August 1 on 10 Peach.
