Arsenal will likely be without influential defender Takehiro Tomiyasu for this week’s Premier League clash against Wolves at Molineux.
The right-back has been struggling with a calf injury over the last couple of months and aggravated the problem again last month which has led to another spell on the sidelines.
Though his fitness is improving, he did not travel with the Arsenal squad to Dubai for warm-weather training, with Mikel Arteta set to be careful with the player’s return.
Arsenal have been boosted by the return of Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey who will both be available again after serving suspensions.

Nicolas Pepe joined the team in Dubai following Africa Cup of Nations duties, but Mohamed Elneny is yet to return.
Aaron Ramsdale will start in goal behind a likely back four of Cedric, Gabriel, Ben White and Kieran Tierney.
Xhaka and Partey will take their positions as the first choice central midfield pairing.
Martin Odegaard, Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka will be the likely attacking midfield three.
With striker options extremely limited for Arteta following the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the Spaniard must choose between Eddie Nketiah, Alexandre Lacazette and Gabriel Martinelli.
Martinelli has usually been deployed on the wing this season but might be given the nod up top.
