THE 15-year-old son of Ryan Giggs is continuing his own climb to Manchester United’s first-team after recently starring on a trip to the USA.

He was part of the group that headed to Dallas, Texas earlier this month to take part in the Adidas Generation Cup.

The Stateside tournament featured a number of big teams like Celtic, River Plate, Roma plus several MLS sides. 

And United fielded sides in both the U15 and U17 category.

It remains unclear which group Giggs Jr was part of, but the former were beaten by Portland Timbers 2-1 in the last-16 while latter went down by the same score to River Plate in the quarters.

Despite not going on to win the tournament, Giggs appeared to have loved every minute of it as he posted several action shots and a team photo from the trip on to his Instagram account.

The talented teen plays left-back, just behind the wing position his father achieved legendary status at during his playing days at Old Trafford.

And his performances have already been recognised on the international stage.

Last year he received his first call-up to Wales’ U15 squad and has now been capped at that level.

Daddy Giggs was part of United’s legendary ‘Class of 92’ alongside the likes of David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt plus Phil and Gary Neville.

He went on to spend 25 years at Old Trafford and helped the club to win every major trophy, including 13 titles and the Champions League twice.

Giggs also set an incredible record of scoring in 23 consecutive campaigns playing in the Premier League.

But his boy is not the only familiar name currently playing with United’s academy set-up.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr has already displayed his brilliant skills for the U12s.

And the club’s all-time top scorer Wayne Rooney was proud as punch as his boy Kai recently scored four goals for the Red Devils’ U12s team against Liverpool.

And midfielder Nemanja Matic, who will leave United once his deal expires in June, also has his boy Filip attempting to emulate his father after joining the academy as a seven-year-old.
