Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has a number of injury concerns heading into the Premier League clash with Norwich on Saturday.

In the Red Devils’ last match, they suffered a shock defeat at the hands of relegation-threatened Everton – a result that severely damaged the club’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.

As things stand, they are down in seventh in the Premier League, six points adrift of the top four.

Raphael Varane and Scott McTominay both missed the Everton game and it is looking extremely likely that they will be unavailable for Norwich, too.

During the game against the Toffees, Fred had to be withdrawn at half-time due to a hip flexor issue.

Luke Shaw is also currently sidelined after having pins removed from his calf, while Edinson Cavani is missing due to a calf injury too.

Cristiano Ronaldo emerged from the Everton game with a large gash on his shin, but he is expected to feature versus Norwich.

David de Gea will start in goal behind a likely back four of Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Alex Telles.

With midfield options low, Rangnick may opt for a three of Bruno Fernandes, Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba.

With Marcus Rashford withdrawn just after the hour against Everton, Anthony Elanga may be given the chance in the front three alongside Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho.
