Manchester United will be desperate to pour more misery on a poor Everton side by getting back to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

In the English top-flight’s early kick off, Ralf Rangnick’s side make the trip to Merseyside with a relatively full-strength squad for Ralf Rangnick to pick from. Whether it will be enough to pick up all three points remains to be seen.

In defence, the interim Man Utd manager is unlikely to risk Luke Shaw at left-back, after the defender came off injured last week against Leicester City. As such Alex Telles will likely take his place in a back four that will also include Raphael Varane, Harry Maguirer and Diogo Dalot.

In midfield we should also see Rangnick have a number of options ahead of the Everton test, which may lead to the Man Utd boss dropping Paul Pogba for the in-form Fred, alongside Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes.

There have been some question marks over Cristiano Ronaldo’s involvement after the star was struck down with illness, but we should expect the Portugal international to return to the starting XI.

As such, Ronaldo should lead the line from the No.9 position, with Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford in support on either wing.
