Kate Middleton immerses herself in the local cuisine while eating conch during the final day of her Caribbean tour with husband Prince William.

The Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed the tasting during a Fish Fry stop on Saturday (March 26) in Great Abaco, Bahamas.

People reports that Kate sampled the conch salad and then told vendors, “That was lovely.” She even went behind the counter to try making the salad herself and told a local vendor, “I’m not as fast as you!”

The islands of Abaco are still being rebuilt, two years after the devastation caused by Hurricane Dorian. Kate and Will visited communities that were impacted and learned about what happened in those areas.

Kate had a Cinderella moment while attending a black-tie reception the night before.
