IPL 8 Language Broadcast: Disney Star is in its last year of IPL Broadcast deal.
Star Sports has engaged 80 member commentary team for the LIVE Broadcast of IPL 2022.
IPL 2022 Commentators LIST: Star Sports has named 16 member World Feed team. The Hindi team has a big surprise in-store for the cricket fans. Suresh Raina has been engaged to do HINDI commentary.
Raina will be seen in action along with former Indian coach Ravi Shastri.
IPL 2022 LIVE Commentary
- Star Sports has roped in the former India batsman for Hindi commentary. He will be seen in action in the commentary box alongside Ravi Shastri.
- Shastri is also making a comeback in IPL after 7 long years. During his 7-year coaching stint with Team India, Shastri stayed away from broadcast roles.
- The likes of Kevin Pietersen, Mark Nicholas, Ian Bishop, Danny Morrison, Simon Doull, Michael Slater are expected to return for IPL 2022 World Feed.
- Ajit Agarkar and Ashish Nehra will not be part of the commentary team. The duo have joined Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Giants as assistant coach and head coach.
- Boria Majumder is also unlikely to be given role as Bengali commentator. He had a fallout with the BCCI following the Wriddhiman Saha episode.
