After delving into your favorite recipes from the past year, I’m now going to share My Favorite Recipes of 2022!
While the recipes on my list may not be the ones that broke the internet, they’re no less deserving of recognition.
These recipes held a special place in my heart this year for multiple reasons.
- Some are easy, healthy, family-friendly recipes that would fit nicely among Your Favorite Recipes of 2022.
- Others are scrumptious sweet treats that I love making on repeat in my kitchen.
- One recipe is incredibly meaningful to me (in addition to being completely delicious).
- And of course, turkey topped my list this year, as it was a true labor of love.
It is an immense honor to see Well Plated recipes on your tables.
Your support and feedback are the backbone of this little corner of the Internet.
I know there are a lot of recipes out there, and I’m incredibly grateful when you choose to try mine. ❤️
Now, let’s check out my favorite recipes!
Instant Pot Spaghetti. This meaty one-pot wonder is the epitome of low-effort yielding maximum results. The sauce is so rich and silky!
Chicken Katsu. Because crispy outside, juicy inside oven “fried” chicken is simply one of the best things there is. This take on Japanese comfort food took me back to Tokyo!
Greek Mac and Cheese. The crushed pita chip topping puts it over the edge in the best way possible.
Air Fryer Pickles. Between Air Fryer Potato Chips, Air Fryer Onion Rings, and all of these air fryer recipes, our air fryer got a workout this year. Pickles were a surprising favorite.
Fig and Date Energy Balls. Figs make a refreshing change of pace from the usual oatmeal Energy Balls or date versions. These are a great way to use the rest of that bag of dried fruit.
Mushroom Risotto. You, yes YOU can make the creamy risotto of your dreams. This recipe is proof. I love making this as much for friends and for a special night in.
Miso Salmon. Miso can last in your fridge for months and gives this fast, easy salmon recipe an incredible umami that will make you feel like an accomplished chef.
Brownie Cookies. Chewy like a cookie, fudgy like a brownie. For those who want it all.
Shepherd’s Pie. When was the last time you had this classic comfort food? Whatever the answer, it’s been too long.
Fluffy Pancakes. In loving memory of my dad. This is as close as I’ve come to matching the ethereal pancakes my dad made growing up.
How to Cook a Turkey. Months of work went into creating this comprehensive guide for roasting the best juicy turkey EVER. Seeing you all make it on Thanksgiving and bask in the applause of your families was one of the highlights of my year!
