My Best Buddy- Jackson
“Dogs are our link to paradise. They don’t know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring–it was peace.”
― Milan Kundera
Early mornings find him
sprawled in the east window
Catching rays of warm sunshine
as he watches the world go by
After morning walks
he plops down on a sunbeam
falling across the floor, to sleep until he hears
It’s time for breakfast, Jack!
