Brisbane-based Ludo Studios has been forced to issue a statement following a media report hit series Bluey would conclude after its third season.
The Daily Mail reported “the series may be ‘wrapped up’ in the coming months due to one significant factor – the voice of the young actor behind Bluey is changing….. the young actor’s voice has naturally matured leaving producers with the choice to either re-cast the role or – more drastically – end the show, insiders say.”
But Ludo took to social media to deny the speculation.
Some of you have spotted some online speculation on the future of #Bluey. We absolutely love the show and there are no plans to end it. The community of fans around the world continue to blow us away and if we ever had an update on Bluey’s future you’d hear it from us first. pic.twitter.com/PmdLjpmjvj

Series 3 -some of which has screened on ABC- continues in production.
Ludo co-founder Daley Pearson recently told TV Tonight, each episode takes 4 months to complete, and while they are produced concurently, a season takes years to complete.
“In terms of what next, Season Three hasn’t started yet in the US, and here we’ve still got the back half of it coming out.
“All our concentration and energy is put into finishing Season Three.”
