Kuwait: Court fined 4,400 KD to an airline for the luggage delay

The Commercial and Partial Civil Section in the Court of Cassation has ordered a commercial airline to pay a citizen KD 4,400 as compensation for the five days delay in the arrival of his luggage to his destination.

According to Al-Seyassah daily, the lawyer for the citizen, presented details of the case on behalf of his client. He disclosed that his client was on a flight from Kuwait International Airport to a foreign country and was in transit at Dubai International Airport. He argued the five days delay in the arrival of his client’s luggage caused material and moral damages, hence, the need to compensate him.
