Adam Levine is taking a trip down memory lane!
On Monday (April 25), the 43-year-old Maroon 5 frontman appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where he and the 64-year-old talk show host reminisced over their nearly 20-year friendship, which started when he first appeared on the show in 2003.

“That is crazy,” Adam said. “Especially because the first season we were it, it was just such a different time in my life. I didn’t have, like, clean clothes.”
He added, “I just wanted to thank you in front of America and all these people in this room for being so supportive of us from the beginning. Not many were, and I love you forever for that.”
“I’ve always loved you, you know that,” Ellen responded.
Adam then went on to reveal that Ellen was the one that came up with his and wife Behati Prinsloo‘s eldest daughter’s name, Dusty. Their daughter is now 5-years-old.
“I know it was definitely a name that you recommended,” Adam said before adding that the 33-year-old model wasn’t a fan of the name, but she eventually warmed up to it.
Along with Dusty, Adam and Behati are also parents to 4-year-old daughter Gio.
