Back in the gap, these celebs had it going on, hunni. They were fooh la la’n and Garcelle Beauvais, affectionately known as Fancy, had a few thangs to say about her romantic experiences from the 90s.
In her new memoir, “Love Me As I Am,” the 55-year-old shares her dating experiences with Michael Jordan and Will Smith.
The model and former Basketball player did a photo shoot together and went out afterwards. She stated, “I was impressed by how tall and handsome he was. He took me on a golf date after the shoot and showed me how to hold a club properly and swing.”
MJ must’ve also been impressed because he wanted to take her to Hawaii, but she declined his offer, according to New York Post.
“Like a naive little girl, I was ‘clutching my pearls’ and shocked by the idea of going to Hawaii with a man I had just met.
She added:
I blew that one!
It’s not clear when the two dated or how long, but they could’ve been superstars.
While the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star was putting us in her business, Garcelle mentioned that she ended her romantic relationship Will Smith.
According to her book, Garcelle also stated that Will’s son, Trey (from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino), asked if she was Jada during a call.
I remember one day calling [Will] and he was in the car. And his son, with Sheree, [they] were in the back.
She continued:
So you know, he picked up on the car or Bluetooth or whatever it was back in the day, or speakerphone—whatever it was—and he said, ‘Hey, how are you doing?’ And I said, ‘I’m great.’
She went on to say how she heard a voice in background who proceeded to ask:
[Is that] Miss Jada on the phone?
Garcelle also went on to say that she ended the 90s romance.
And that’s when I was like okay—I’m not the only one. Exit stage left.
As you know, Will went on to marry Jada Pinkett Smith in 1997. The couple has two kids together: Willow Smith, 21, and Jayden Smith, 23.
Garcelle is currently single and has been divorced twice. She has three sons.
