Kuwait: 5760 residents over 60 years work in the government sector

As per the latest statistic issued by the Central Administration of Statistics, around 5,760 residents above 60 years of age are working with various government agencies in the country as on December 2021. Among this, 1,806 are over 65 years old.

As of December 2020, this number was 6,065.

Meanwhile, in the private sector, the number of residents above 60 years reduced by 6,226. At the end of 2020, the number in private sector was about 75,460, and the number reduced to 69,232 by the end of 2021.
