Miranda Lambert is kind of bummed that she won’t be at the 2022 Grammys this weekend.
The 38-year-old songstress is up for two awards at the show – Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” with Elle King, and for Best Country Album for The Marfa Tapes with Jon Randall and Jack Ingram.

While chatting with ABC News, Miranda explains that she’s skipping out on the show because she’s swamped!
“I’m not getting to go again,” she said in an interview with ABC Audio, explaining that the show falls right in the middle of pre-production for her co-headlining Bandwagon Tour with Little Big Town plus prep for her new Palomino album. “So, I’m slammed this month, with the record coming out and everything.”
Miranda did add that both Jon and Jack would be at the show, repping her for their Best Country Album nom.
“We were on a group text this morning. I feel like I have FOMO,” she admitted.
While she won’t be there, Miranda is still grateful for the nominations and to have been a part of the production last year.
“I got to play on the Grammys last year, and I got to take one home, and I was just so thankful,” the singer said. “I’m grateful for what I already have.”
Miranda has three Grammy Awards to her name – 2010′s Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “The House That Built Me”, 2015′s Best Country Album for Platinum and 2021′s Best Country Album for Wildcard.
