3 month entry visa applicable only to business visas, not family

The Interior Ministry clarified the news related to the starting of 3-month entry visa, which was published last week. According to a media report, quoting MoI official, the official clarified that the decision is only related to business visas.

Last week it was reported that Kuwait opens entry visas valid for three months, which went into effect from March 20, 2022.

However, Director of the Public Relations and Security Media Department at the Ministry of Interior Brig-Gen Tawheed Al-Kandari clarified that the decision is only related to business visas. Earlier during the pandemic time, I had extended the validity of business visas up to six months. But from last Sunday (March 20), it went back to the original period of validity of business visas, which is three months.

Regarding family visas, he noted it’s currently limited to the certain applicants based on certain conditions, it added.
