VITEEE Counselling 2022: VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) is conducting the counselling of VITEEE. Qualifying candidates in VIT Entrance Exam have to appear for counselling. The admission of the candidates will take place based on the JEE Main Scores 2022 for the engineering courses. Also, the university had conducted its own entrance test in the month of June 2022. VIT releases the counselling schedule @ vit.ac.in. However, the procedure is conducted offline. Therefore, candidates have to report to the College for further process. Seat Allotment will be on the basis of the candidate’s merit and other factors.

How to Participate in VITEEE Counselling 2022?

The counselling takes place for admission into B.Tech courses in various VIT campuses. Qualifying candidates can only participate in VITEEE B.Tech counselling. In order to participate in the counselling process, candidates have to download the provisional letter by logging into the accounts. Also, make sure you carry all the relevant documents at the time of registration.

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility conditions to sit for counselling. Now let us take a look at the brief process.

Step 1: Counselling Registration

The first step is to register yourself to further continue with the process. In order to do so, candidates have to report to the assigned centre at the given time & date. Also, a counselling centre will be given on the basis of the candidate’s VITEEE rank.

Step 2: Verification of Documents

After successful registration, the next step is to get document verification done. This is a crucial step. Every candidate has to mandatory bring the documents as per the guidelines. The College authorities will carefully analyze the documents and proceed further.

Step 3: Seat Allotment

Once the verification of documents is over, the authorities will begin the process of seat allotment. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of availability of seats, candidate’s preference, and other influential factors.

Step 4: Upload Documents

Candidates need to provide the documents as specified by the admission authorities. The documents must be in a proper format. In case there are any errors, then inform the given person immediately.

Step 5: Fee Payment

Now, the next step is to pay the fee to confirm the allotted seat. The fee payment will be via a DD (Demand Draft) in favour of the Vellore Institute of Technology, payable at Vellore. Also, the admission fee is Rs 50,000 (including Rs. 11,800 as the counselling fee). Candidates must remember that the counselling fee is non-refundable.

Step 6: Hostel Enquiry

If you wish to accommodate in VIT hostel, then you need to pay Rs 21,000 (including Rs. 1200 as hostel fee, which is non-refundable) via DD. The DD has to be drawn in the favour of Vellore Institute of Technology, payable at Vellore.

• DD of RS. 21,000 for Hostel
