My guess is that Disney+ will retain first-run rights in Australia, while Seven will play “new” eps when licensing costs come down rather than (semi?) fast-tracking them like they used to (and paying a premium for multichannel fodder that rates about the same as repeats).

Curiously, Season 33 isn’t available on iTunes either, and my guess is that they will remain unavailable until after they air on 7mate/7flix. And Fox8 will likely be the last in the chain.

It would be nice if Seven would provide some clarity on the status of The Simpsons (et al.) on their network though.
