Arsenal have been on a good run of form lately and will be hoping to continue their efforts to bag a top four finish in the Premier League by claiming all three points against Leicester City.
Fortunately for Mikel Areta, the Arsenal squad don’t have a huge amount of injuries to worry about and should be able to put out a similar starting XI to the one that beat Watford in midweek.
In defence, Arteta is likely to stick with Aaron Ramsdale in goals, with a back four of Kieran Tierney, Gabriel and Ben White in the middle of defence, while Cedric Soares keeps his spot at right back, while Takehiro Tomiyasu continues to miss out through injury.
Arsenal’s only injury concern in midfield comes in the form of Emile Smith Rowe, who was out of action due to a COVID infection. The young star was back in training this week, but is unlikely to be rushed back. Instead, Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka will likely keep their spots in midfield, with Martin Odegaard playing in the No.10 role.
Up front, Gabriel Martinelli continues to enjoy regular game time on the left wing since the departure of forwards players in January, while Bukayo Saka should keep his place on the right flank. Alexandre Lacazette will undoubtedly keep his place as the team’s main striker up front.
