Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel will be hoping his side can make it four Premier League wins in a row by defeating Norwich City at Carrow Road on Thursday.

The hosts are bottom of the league table, so Chelsea will expect nothing short of three points, ideally with a performance as dominant as the second half against Burnley.

However, Tuchel may have to do that with a make-shift defence, following another injury to Reece James, as he suffered a muscular problem in the victory at Turf Moor.

And, given it should be an easy game for the Blues, James should be sidelined in hopes of a return against in-form Newcastle on Sunday.

Cesar Azpilicueta is expected to return to the starting lineup, with Saul Niguez on the left and a back three of Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva and Trevoh Chalobah.

Tuchel has no fresh injury concerns in midfield, so we could see the Chelsea manager go with Mateo Kovacic and N’Golo Kante in the centre of the park, with Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic stepping into the attacking midfield roles. Mason Mount has been out of form lately and could do with a rest.

Both Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku were back amongst the goals against Luton Town, but Tuchel should stick with Kai Havertz in a false nine role where he has excelled in recent weeks.
