The Florida Panthers have placed defenceman Olli Juolevi on waivers, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.

Juolevi, 23, was acquired by the Panthers from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for forward Juho Lammikko and defenceman Noah Juulsen in October.

The Finnish blueliner, who was drafted fifth overall by the Canucks in 2016, has played in 10 games for the Panthers this season without registering a single point.
