Managing clients’ products & purchases with The Hub

If you plan on using The Hub to manage clients’ products and purchases, it’s a good idea to give them a heads-up about the request you’re sending, as The Hub emails the address you entered for them. From your client’s perspective, it might seem odd to get this message out of the blue.

To request delegate access for a new client

Requesting account access is conveniently part of the workflow when you add new clients to The Hub.

  1. Log in to The Hub.
  2. Go to the left-hand column, and then click Clients.
  3. Click New client. The Create new client screen displays.
  4. Enter the required information, and then in the Client account access section, select Yes, and then click Save. Your client will receive an email requesting they log in to their GoDaddy account and grant access.
  5. You’ll receive an email indicating your client has granted you access.

To request delegate access for an existing client

If you don’t request access when you first add clients to The Hub, it’s still easy to do it later.

  1. Log in to The Hub.
  2. Go to the left-hand column, and then click Clients.
  3. Go to the client you want, and then from the three-dot menu, select Request access. Alternately, you can click the client, and then click Request access.
  4. You’ll receive an email indicating your client has granted you access.

To manage clients’ products

Once you’ve received delegate access from clients, you can log in to their GoDaddy account to buy and configure products.

  1. Log in to The Hub.
  2. Go to the left-hand column, and then click Clients.
  3. Hover over the client you want, and then click Login as client. Alternately, you can click the client, and then in the right-hand column of the client screen, click Login as client.
  4. You are now logged in to the client’s GoDaddy account.
  5. To log out, go to the green band, and then click Exit access.
