Kanye West Instagram account has been active lately, but whether or not he posted to his account is in question.
Even though a photo of Kanye appeared on his Instagram account with a note that stated he wasn’t hacked, Kanye’s team is requesting that his Instagram posts not be admissible for the upcoming court hearing, TMZ reports.
“Kanye just filed legal docs … trying to make his social media posts attacking Kim, Pete and others inadmissible in next week’s hearing. As we reported, a judge will decide next week whether to restore Kim’s single status.”
His lawyer stated, “Kim claims she read something online allegedly by Kanye and characterizes the posts in her declaration as misinformation … Kim needed to offer the social media posts into evidence, and show that the posts were written by Kanye.”
It’s also reported that the prenup may be invalid. TMZ also reports that Kanye’s “attorney says there’s a presumption in California that prenups signed after 2001 are invalid, and the only way they can be validated is either during a trial or if both parties agree.”
This comes after Kim Kardashian filed documents stating Kanye put a lot of misinformation regarding their private matter. In the docs obtained by TMZ, Kim stated “I very much desire to be divorced.” She also states that she has asked Kanye to keep their divorce process private, “but he has not done so.” Kim continued to say, “Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress.”
As we previously reported, Kim first filed to become legally single last December.
In her recent filing to the judge, Kim states, “While I wish our marriage would have succeeded, I have come to the realization that there is no way to repair our marriage. Kanye does not agree but at least it appears that he has come to the realization that I want to end our marriage, even if he does not.”
TMZ also notes that Kanye has reportedly asked to prevent Kim from transferring assets out of any trust. However, Kim responded by saying that they have a prenup, which keeps their trusts and assets separate.
Roomies, what do you think of this?
