LPU NEST Slot Booking 2022 Started for March Session. Lovely Professional University provides scholarships to students in various fields. In order to get the benefit of the scholarship, students need to go through the LPU NEST entrance exam. The scholarship test is termed NEST and is conducted by LPU every year. The participants of the test are the students who have cleared or appearing for the 12th board. This article focuses on the B.Tech Programme, hence it mainly provides a scholarship at the Undergraduate level. In order to be part of the exam, students have to go through the entrance exam. Before appearing for the entrance exam, candidates have to fill the LPU NEST 2022 application form.

For the entrance exam, candidates get 4 chances to grab the scholarships. However, with each phase passing, the amount of the scholarship decreases. In order to book the slot for the test, one must have their account or details with the University. The process is explained below: To have a booking slot the candidates must have a username and password. Things candidates need to know about the procedure of username and password are:

1.  When candidates purchase the LPU NEST 2022 Kit (submitting online even after purchasing it)

  • A password or unique OMR code is given in the OMR sheet provided in the Kit.

2. If candidates are applying online

Once the candidates submit the application form, the username and password will flash on the screen. Copy that thing for future purposes. However, the username and the password will be sent to the email ID. While filling the form, one must provide a valid email ID and contact number.

3. Candidates applying online and having a DD

Username and password will be sent to the registered email ID and contact no. Hence, provide valid details while filling the form. The candidates receive once the application fee payment is done

Candidates can book the LPU nest online slot booking for the test by themselves or let the university decide for themselves. It is totally upon the candidates in which way they want to take. In an OMR sheet, the candidates have to select whether they want to choose the slot for taking the exam or the University will book it. They can have the slot booking by entering the username and password. If candidates choose to let the University decide about the slot booking, the University will do it for them. This is very very important because the admit card will not be processed if the slot booking is not done.

Online Test Slot Booking

There are two options through which candidates can book the slot. The two ways are given below:

1. Booking by the applicants

Online booking means the University gives the opportunity to the students to have the online schedule the test system. While booking the slot, the candidates must have a copy of the application form and the password. Here, the password is the unique OMR code. Candidates can choose the centre, date and time as per their preference. The selection is made as per the preference allotted by the university. At least three days prior to the examination, candidates have to book the slot. It is strongly advised to avoid the last-minute rush. Since lakhs of students appear for the exam, so schedule booking is as per the first come first serve basis.

2. Booking by the University

University selects the slots for the candidates. This option is chosen by the candidates themselves. In an OMR Sheet, candidates have to specify the five choices of exam dates. So as per the availability of the slot, University will provide any of the selected dates. The process will take place after 48 hours of receiving the application form. Thus candidates have to visit the official site of the University. Then they have to enter the username and password to check the exam slot. Suppose, candidates do not get the slot on the preferred dates then, the University will grant some other dates for the examination

So at the time of booking the slot, be attentive and fast. Book the slot on time otherwise, you will miss the opportunity.

Important Points To Remember

• Candidates cannot change the slot if once booked. Only the exceptional case will be reconsidered.
• If there is an unavailability of the slot, then candidates can book the alternate slot.
• Online test booking will be given to those who have completed the application procedure. That too it must be valid and correct.
• Since preference is there, so candidates must make the best possible way to have the slot as per their preference.
• A confirmation mail will be sent to the registered email. id and contact details once the booking slot procedure is done.
• In the rarest scene, if there is a technical glitch then the candidates will be given a chance to attempt the test again.
